Lindbergh High School Strolling Strings is holding a Music Trivia Night/Silent Auction that will take place on Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 4900 Ringer Road, Oakville.

The group relies greatly on the silent auction portion of the evening to cover up to 30 percent of its annual budget.

The trivia night features 10 rounds of music themed questions, and many of the rounds feature live performances by professional musicians and LHS music department faculty, which makes it “much more engaging and interactive than a conventional event,” said Andrew Nowicki, Sperreng Middle School orchestra teacher.

The price is $25 per person. Tables hold up to 10 people.

The price includes open bar, water and soda. Doors open at 6 p.m., and trivia starts at 7 p.m.

The students in Strolling Strings are raising money to perform at the Gettysburg National Battlefield Memorial, Walter Reed VA Hospital and the National Mall.

Strolling Strings includes 30 students who share a passion for making music.
