To the editor:
County Executive Steve Stenger does it again.
He’s letting down St. Louis County and, especially, the people of the district from which he was originally elected — District 6 — Mehlville, Oakville and other parts of unincorporated south county.
I find it very curious that Stenger has chosen to endorse a downtown site in St. Louis city for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency versus a site available in St. Louis County at the MetLife campus in south county, his originating district. There must be something in it for him to favor the city over the county and to ignore his own constituents and the county’s constituents.
I, for one, am watching the actions of the County Executive and how he performs his elected office’s duties.
