Kara Michelle Baker, daughter of Jeff and Sue Baker of south county, and Ryan Anthony Daman, son of Debra Daman of O’Fallon and Robert Daman of south county, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Baker is a 2003 graduate of Rosati-Kain High School. She also is a graduate of Fontbonne University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders in 2007 and a master’s degree in communication disorders in 2009. She currently is employed as a speech-language pathologist in the St. Louis Public School District.
Her fiancé, Daman, graduated from South County Technical High School in 2003. He earned a degree in automotive maintenance technology from Ranken Technical College in 2008. He currently is employed in sales.
The couple plan a June 23 wedding at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church.
