Denise Geitz, daughter of Jerry and Marilyn Geitz of Oakville, and Alex Baur, son of William and Shirley Baur of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Geitz is a 1997 graduate of Oakville Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She earned a bachelor degree in special and elementary education and is employed by the St. Louis College of Health Careers as an admissions representative.
Her fiance, Baur, is employed by U.S. Foods as an order selector.
The couple plan a May 8 wedding at St. John’s Evangelical United Church of Christ.
