Angie M. Derenbecher, daughter of Joseph and Mary Derenbecher of Oakville, and Richard T. Beattie, son of Linda and Robert Beattie of Wildwood, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Derenbecher is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School and earned an associate degree from St. Louis Community College. She is employed at South County Anesthesia.
Her fiance, Beattie, is a 1997 graduate of Mehlville Senior High School and earned an associate degree from the Eastern Missouri Police Academy. He is employed as a deputy for Jefferson County.
The couple plan a May 1 wedding at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
