Enjoy the holiday season at the historic Laborer’s House at Jefferson Barracks Historic Site, 345 North Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in conjunction with the regional “Historic St. Louis Presents a Spirited Holiday Past.”
Explore the customs of the 1860s holidays on a self-guided walk through the Laborer’s House, with festively decorated rooms, historically dressed docents and an old-fashioned Santa Claus or Father Time.
Photo opportunities will be available with your cell phone or through a St. Louis County website for free.
Hot chocolate and cookies will also be available for guests in the Laborer’s House stable. Admission is $5 a person and children 10 and under are free.
