Sperreng Middle School teacher Shelli Manley has been named the 2016-2017 Middle School Adviser of the Year by the Gateway District of Missouri Association Student Councils.
“Mrs. Manley has served as a Student Council adviser for Sperreng for 25 years, and during that time she has encouraged countless students to find and fulfill their leadership potential,” Pam Gordon, co-sponsor for Sperreng Student Council, stated in a news release.
“Watching her Stuco kids lead and succeed is a source of joy for Mrs. Manley, and she counts this as one of the best parts of her job,” Gordon added.
