Sperreng Middle School health and fitness teacher Kim Onder recently was inducted into the Elmhurst College Bluejay Backer Athletic Hall of Fame.
Onder is a former All-American volleyball player and joins 140 former student athletes as Hall-of-Fame honorees.
During her two seasons on the squad, Onder helped lead the Bluejays to their second College Conference of Illinois Wisconsin Championship and led her team to a 64-15 overall record. Onder’s husband, Dan, and children Izzi and Jake joined her for the Oct. 12 recognition ceremony.
