Angela Denise Spavale, daughter of Andrew and Sue Ann Spavale of Oakville, and David Robert Scher, son of Robert and Mary Ann Scher of Oakville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Spavale is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2002.
Her fiance, Scher, is a 1998 graduate of St. Louis University High School. He is employed at United Parcel Ser-vice and the St. Louis Closet Co.
The couple plan an Aug. 9 wedding at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Louis.
