  • The Red Cross urgently needs blood and platelet donations and has set up multiple donation sites across St. Louis County. Now is a good time to donate blood and platelets, since seasonal declines in blood donations often occur from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day.  In south county, stop by Holiday Inn – South County, 6921 S. Lindbergh Blvd., 63125, to donate blood between 2 and 6 p.m.
  • The St. Louis County Senior Card Club for pinochle and bridge players meets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane.
