• The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis presents “Soul Injury,” a panel discussion on ways to bring peace to those who are hurting, at 7 p.m. at the Grant’s View Branch County Library, 9700 Musick Road. When grief goes unmourned, there is a wound that often goes unnoticed called a “soul injury.”

• See the Easter Egg-Sperience any time between 10 and 11:30 a.m., an “egg-xtra special Holy Week egg-stravaganza” at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Road. Activities include an egg hunt in a non-traditional way and are handicapped-accessible.
• Crestwood Animal Shelter, 9225 Whitecliff Park Lane, will host an open house where visitors can meet all the recent shelter guests, meet the shelter’s canines and learn of the upcoming spring fundraiser happening in April at the Elks Lodge in Affton.
• Church of the Reformation-Lutheran, 7910 Mackenzie Road, will host New Life Festival from 9 to 11:30 a.m., a free, family-friendly event for children ages 2 through fifth grade. The event features gospel-themed activity centers, an Easter egg hunt, crafts and egg dyeing.
