• The St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish, 4900 Ringer Road, will offer a Fish Fry from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The event offers drive-up and carry-out service.

• Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 6603 Christopher Drive, will host a Fish Fry from 4 to 7 p.m. A senior discount is offered from 4 to 5 p.m.

• Assumption Parish will host a fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria and parish center, 4725 Mattis Road. Stations of the Cross are held at 2:15 and 7 p.m. Fridays during Lent.

• The Friends of the Kirkwood Public Library will offer a book sale from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the library, 140 E. Jefferson Ave. The event will benefit the library. Payment is by cash or check.

• A jitterswing dance will be offered at the Concord Farmers Club, 10140 Concord School Road. Lessons start at 7 p.m. and dancing begins at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 24

• South Tech High School’s Design and Entrepreneurship Program host the second annual WE — Women Entrepreneurs — MAKE from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the high school, 12721 W. Watson Road. WE MAKE is an interactive event that immerses young women into the maker movement. Participants will have the opportunity to join in two hands-on creative workshops and learn from inspiring women who are transforming the world and St. Louis through careers that blur art, design and venture capitalism.
