• Our Savior Lutheran Church and School is sponsoring its annual rummage sale at the church, 1500 San Simeon Way, Fenton. The sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

• The Magic House will host Groovin’ in the Garden, a musical extravaganza featuring the Brothers Walker from “The Voice” from 4 to 6:30 p.m. for the cost of museum admission, $11.

• A jitterswing dance will be offered at the Concord Farmers Club, 10140 Concord School Road. Lessons start at 7 p.m. and dancing begins at 8 p.m.

Saturday, June 9

• The Assumption Parish Picnic and parade will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the church, 4725 Mattis Road. The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Mattis Road, and the picnic begins at noon. An outdoor mass will be held at 5 p.m. The event will feature rides, games, food, live music and more.

Main St. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy live music, USO shows featuring Bob Hope, a military car show, World War II reenactors, great food and lots of fun to honor past and present military members.
