Registration will begin Monday, Jan. 5, for children’s swim classes offered by the Mehlville Community Education Office at the Mehlville Senior High School swimming pool, 3120 Lemay Ferry Road.
A 14-week Saturday session of a children’s learn-to-swim class will begin Jan. 17. Cost per class is $65 for residents and $75 for non-residents. Class times are 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
A 14-week session of stroke improvement and advanced swim instruction also will begin at 8 a.m. Jan. 17. The class is open to children 8 to 13 years of age who have had previous swim lessons and an ability to swim one width of the pool — 15 yards.
Class size is limited to 12 students. The cost is $65 for residents and $75 for non-residents.
Adult evening classes also are available.
