Sidewalks are for walking, not storing snow, Crestwood man writes

Letter to the Editor

To the editor:

I accept that there are different opinions on removing snow from public sidewalks.

However, along bus routes, I fail to see the logic of making using the public sidewalks worse by piling up walls of snow scraped off of the adjacent parking lots.

Sidewalks are for walking, not for storing snow.

Use some of the back parking spaces for the snow piles – you don’t need them, it’s nowhere near Black Friday – and some people actually use the bus.
