Shizue Hutton (nee Nishi) died Saturday, March 22.

Mrs. Hutton was a free-spirited, kind woman who had a lifelong affair with crème brulée, dark chocolate, the music of Frank Sinatra — not necessarily in that order — and regularly destroyed all comers in Scrabble. She was passionate about love, life, music, singing, dancing and performed with the Niji Choral, Nami Dancing and Gaku Instrumental groups.

Mrs. Hutton is survived by her children, Eric (Amy), Sean (Lisa), Dale (Diane Vonhof) and Dean (Kathy) Hutton; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi F. Hutton Jr.

Services and visitation were at Hoffmeister South County Chapel. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
