Shirley Mae Clauss (nee Reifeiss) died March 23 at her south county home.
Mrs. Clauss was the beloved mother of Bobette (David) Matter and Mark (Christy) Clauss; dearest grandmother of Jennifer (Earl) Hodges, David (Molly) Matter, Becky (Dan Linroth) Clauss, Jeffrey (Theresa) Clauss, Dan (Kayla) Clauss, Katie (Chris) Jennings and Lindsay Clauss; and dearest great-grandmother of Connor and Jackson Matter, Adison and Jameson Clauss and Cooper Jennings. Caregiver, companion and friend Ellen Harris holds a special place in the hearts of Mrs. ClaussÂ’ family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and son Jeffrey.
Visitation and services were at Kutis South County Chapel. Interment was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
