Severson offered appointment to West Point

Lindbergh High senior Isaac Severson has received an offer of appointment from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, as a member of the class of 2020.

In addition, Severson was recently named Student of the Month by the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Area Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding achievements, according to a district news release.

He takes four Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate classes, has a 4.4 grade-point average and consistently demonstrates both hard work and determination, according to College and Career Counselor Kate Keegan.

Severson is involved in a variety of extracurricular activities and is well-respected by his peers and teachers. He has played water polo and been a member of the cross country team for four years, and served as water polo team captain this year.

Severson is an Eagle Scout, a National Honor Society member and a camp counselor for Kids of Victory Bible Camp.
