The Kennedy Recreation Complex, 6050 Wells Road, will offer scuba clinics for children who are at least 10 years old from July 12 to July 16 and from July 19 to July 23.

The cost of each clinic is $96 per child. Participants may register for both clinics at a discounted price of $150. The course fee includes all manuals and supplies. Young divers will learn the basic concepts and skills of scuba diving.

Besides the child scuba clinics, an adult class is available for participants 16 years and older. The adult scuba clinic will take place July 26 to Aug. 6. The cost is $200 per diver. The course fee includes all manuals and supplies. Participants may be eligible for the open water diving test for certification after completing the course — additional fees will apply.

All clinics are conducted from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and are taught by certified instructors.
