Janelle Schroeder, daughter of James and Jenni Schroeder of Phoenix, Ariz., and Drew Ammel, son of Francis Ammel of St. Louis and Terry and Linda Ammel of Weldon Spring, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Schroeder, of St. Louis, earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She is employed by Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women of Town and Country as electronic media manager.
Her fiance, Ammel, is a graduate of Lindbergh High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is employed by Wells Fargo Advisors of St. Louis as a securities/operations specialist.
The couple plan a May 2 wedding at the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis.
