Kelly Schmidt and Charlie Backer were married June 5 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Brian Fischer.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Diane Schmidt of St. Louis.
The groom is the son of John and Kathy Backer of St. Louis.
The maid of honor was Christina Urekar. Bridesmaids were Jessica Pollard, Katie Bohn, Nicole Woods and Heather Heidbreder.
The best men were Joe Backer and Kevin Krieger. Groomsmen were Jeff Schmidt, Tim Lauer and Colin Keller.
The flower girl was Tess Krieger, cousin of the groom. The ringbearer was David Hardesty, cousin of the groom.
Ushers were Kevin Ridgeway and John Dunlap.
A reception was at the Royale Orleans Banquet Center in south county.
After a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple moved to St. Louis.
