Oakville Senior High School Principal Bill Scheffler has been selected as the 2009-2010 High School Principal of the Year by the St. Louis Association of Secondary School Principals, or SASSP, a division of the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals, or MASSP.

“It has been my pleasure to be principal of OHS the last five years,” Scheffler stated in a district news release. “I feel honored by this selection, but feel it is as much a tribute to the staff and students at OHS as it is to me. I thank them for the accomplishments we have achieved together and look forward to working with them to make more improvements in the future.”

Scheffler was selected for the High School Principal of the Year Award based on his exemplary performance and success in providing high-quality learning opportunities for Oakville High School students, according to the release.

He will be recognized Thursday, May 6, at the SASSP Awards Banquet at the Nor-wood Hills Country Club, the news release stated.
