Ann Ryan, daughter of Glenn and Fran Ryan of Oakville, and Simon Brobbel, son of Wilf and Hetty Brobbel of Cottleville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Ryan of Oakville earned a master’s degree in teaching and is employed by the Kirkwood School District as a sixth-grade teacher.
Her fiancé, Brobbel, earned a bachelor of science degree in natural resources management and is employed by the St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation as a surveyor.
The couple plan an Oct. 10 wedding at Concord Church in St. Louis.
