Robert L. Ritzie, 79, died April 13.

Mr. Ritzie was born in Warren, Ohio. He retired as president of the Insurance Division of Wetterau Foods Inc. in 1991.

He served in the Korean War as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry Division and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Ellen Ritzie (nee Ritter); son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cheryl Ritzie; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Kevin Amsler, Linda and Carl Brown, Mary and Steve Brotherton and Janet and Steve Kieffer; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Robert Spencer; and 11 grandchildren.

Services were at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
