Ringe earns master’s, now seeking doctorate

Jerry Ringe recently received his master of arts degree in clarinet performance from Kent State University.

He started his music education in the Mehlville School District in the fifth-grade band with Bill Archer. Ringe graduated from Oakville Senior High School in 2000 and attended the University of North Texas, where he received a bachelor’s degree in 2004.

In 2005, Ringe and his wife, Kristin, moved to Stow, Ohio, to attend Kent State.

After earning his master’s degree, Ringe decided to seek a doctoral degree and was accepted at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Arizona State in Tucson and and the University of North Texas in Denton. They decided to accept the North Texas offer.

Kristin Ringe has been accepted into the master’s program for counseling at the Dallas Theological Seminary.
