Reunion, fund-raiser set by Lindbergh High Band

The Lindbergh High School Band will have a reunion Sunday, June 27, at the Trainwreck in Westport Plaza to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Marching Band, and to benefit the upcoming trip to the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif.

The event is open to all former Lindbergh band members. The Band Alumni Committee, comprised of parent volunteers from this year’s band, is in the process of creating a database that can be used for future reunions. The committee needs help to locate past band members.

Those with information about past Lindbergh band members are asked to call Terri Taylor at 843-7291 or e-mail her at darrelljtaylor@charter.net.

The guest list will include Lindbergh’s first Marching Band director, Larry Charpiot, Barbara (Tippett) Jochens, Lindbergh’s first drum major, past band directors Robert Tobler, Francis McReady and Lowell Brunner. Alumni can bring pictures, scrapbooks and other memorabilia from any of the band programs. The cost is $20 per person, which includes drink tickets and food.

Send checks payable to “Bandstanders” c/o Terri Taylor, 9912 Juniper Court, St. Louis, Mo. 63123.

Include your name — maiden name, if applicable — address, telephone number, e-mail and the year you graduated.
