Godiva Reisenbichler, a student at Mehlville Senior High School, is attending the 2006 Missouri Scholars Academy.
Reisenbichler, daughter of Vernon and Juvy Reisenbichler of Oakville, is attending the Missouri Scholars Academy through July 1.
The Missouri Scholars Academy is a three-week academic program for 330 of Missouri’s gifted students who are ready to begin their junior year in high school. The academy is a residential program conducted on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
The academy will celebrate its 22nd year this summer. The academy’s goals are to help gifted students achieve their full potential to attain high standards of achievement, encourage local schools to improve and expand gifted education programs and assist in providing the state with experienced faculty and specialized curriculum for such students.
