The St. Louis Area Chapter of the Amer-ican Red Cross will offer first aid and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation with automated external defibrillators training next month at the Jefferson County Service Center, 3880 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold.
The class will meet from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, and from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. Participants must attend both days to receive certification.
The classes are designed to prepare individuals with the knowledge and skills to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses, including how to use an automated external defibrillator, or AED, for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
