To the editor:
I would like to commend the Mehlville Fire Protection District for keeping our taxes the lowest of any fire protection district in the county over the last 15 years while continuing to improve service.
An unprecedented tax rollback, four new stations, critical care and community paramedics, increased ambulance service as well as other improvements are truly impressive achievements.
Even with the challenges of a pandemic, I have the sense that the current Board of Directors watches over our tax dollars as if they are their own.
With that in mind, please keep the MFPD board intact and vote to re-elect Bonnie Stegman on April 6.
She has done an excellent job and clearly deserves our vote.
I would also like to thank the Call Newpapers for all that they do. They are an integral and important part of our community and do an excellent job of keeping us informed. Thank you.
