To the editor:
Thanks for the great coverage of the “21Bauer” apartment complex project at Tesson Ferry and Bauer roads proposed by Oakville-based developer J.H. Berra.
We need good investigative journalism like what the Call has been providing — shout out to Staff Reporter Gloria Lloyd.
We also need to have exposed the conflict that our county leaders find when they accept large cash contributions to their campaigns and other behind-the-scenes, pay-to-play deals with contractors. It is as smelly as an outhouse underside.
I am not against development, but I do believe that such development should be single-family homes of a quality that will easily blend with the neighborhood of large lots and fine homes.
