Reader objects to lack of trash cans for panhandlers at Interstate 44

To the editor:

My question is for Kirkwood and Sunset Hills: I totally understand why you cannot control the panhandlers at Lindbergh Boulevard and Interstate 44.

But, why couldn’t you at least place trash containers at these locations instead of allowing trash to litter Lindbergh and local businesses?

I’m a disappointed resident.
