To the editor:

Was at two events recently attended by so-called professionals and leaders of the community. This included elected officials, first responders, and many other high-level community leaders. Those who set and enforce rules for others for which most of us abide. 

Not so with the mask mandate! These same people seem to think they can ignore the rules they don’t agree with. It is no wonder people have no respect for authority, authority thinks they don’t have to play by the rules.
