To the editor:

No one needs to bother reading the text of Green Park Ward 1 Alderman Michael Broughton’s letters anymore because they are all the same — hate filled, ignorant and so totally out of touch with the American people.

When I read the headline in his Oct. 18 letter, I decided to pass its question on to the voters of Green Park: “When will Green Park say ‘enough is enough’?”

When will you vote in an alderman (or woman) who cares more for you and your concerns than he does about trying to make a name for himself?

He spends so much time and energy trying to come up with even more vitriolic language to bash our country, its founders and our duly elected current leadership.

If he yearns for socialism and hates our booming economy and newfound respect from countries all over the world, it’s time for your alderman to update his passport to move to the third-world country of his choice.
