Rapisardo, Elvington to be wed Oct. 22 in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

Michelle Lynn Rapisardo, daughter of Michael and Janet Rapisardo of St. Louis, and Andrew Franklin Elvington, son of Frank and Myra Elvington of Spartanburg, S.C., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Rapisardo, of Charleston, S.C., is a 2001 graduate of Mehlville Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.

She successfully completed her doctorate degree in immunology at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2011. Rapisardo is employed by the Medical University of South Carolina.

Her fiancé, Elvington earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C., in 2006.

Elvington is a graduate student at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he is seeking a doctorate degree in immunology.

The couple plan an Oct. 22 wedding at St. Andrew’s Church in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
