Ralph W. Stonebraker, 90, died Dec. 18.

Born in St. Louis, Mr. Stonebraker resided in Camdenton for 23 years.

He served as vice president and chief financial officer of Midland Container Corp. for 26 years.

Mr. Stonebraker was a member of the National Association of Accountants, now the Institute of Management Accounting, and served as president of the St. Louis Chapter, a national director and national vice president. He also was a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives, doing one-on-one counseling to small businesses and producing workshops and seminars on a variety of business topics.

Survivors include his wife, Margie (nee Marxer); sons, James, David and John Stonebraker and Fred Marxer; and daughter, Peggy Illert (nee Marxer).

Services were conducted Dec. 21 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Camdenton.
