Ralph D. Dietzman, 79, died Jan. 10.

Born in East Chicago, Ind., Mr. Dietzman resided in Oakville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Dietzman was retired from Inland Steel Co.

He was a member of Garfield Masonic Lodge No. 569 and a longtime deacon at Covenant Church.

Mr. Dietzman was a member of various dance bands, including the Diplomats.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Robert Zabek; son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Cheri Dietzman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty and Clarence Waser, Ruth and Joe Blauw, Myrtle Buck, Peter and Karen Smith, Flo Kersten and Win Jansen; and six grand-children. Mr. Dietzman was preceded in death by his wife, Norma L. Dietzman; brother, Arthur Dietzman; brothers-in-law, Jim Buck and Peter Kersten; and sister-in-

law, Leatha Jansen.

Services and visitation were at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
