Children ages 5 to 12 in the South County YMCA after-school child-care program at Hagemann Elementary wrote the scripts, painted the scenes, made their own costumes, put on theater makeup and performed ‘Little Red Fighting Hood’ and “Snow White and the Four Blind Mice” in a special performance for their friends and families. YMCA Child-Care Site Director Ca-sey Stephens, a theater education major, led the children through the whole production process from start to finish.
