Staff and pupils from Lindbergh Early Childhood Education recently gathered at the construction site of their new building to leave a special mark — in yellow finger paint, of course — on one of the final beams to be put in place. Preschoolers dipped their hands in paint and stamped them on a V-shaped beam. The project, which is on the Lindbergh High School campus, is part of Proposition R 2008, a $31 million bond issue. LECE Director Charlene Ziegler, left, helps pupils print their names and stamp yellow handprints on the beam that will be part of the new building’s front entryway.
