I am happy to see that Fred Hoehn has decided to run — perhaps about 10 years too late — for mayor of our fair city of Green Park.
I have missed his insights into the workings of our city and if anybody is suited for the job, it’s Mr. Hoehn.
He not only single-handedly founded the city of Green Park, but he has fought every step of the way to keep it the city he envisioned. While I believe Mayor Konopka is doing a good job, I believe Fred Hoehn can do better. I believe in his annexation plan and especially his belief that if the city cannot afford a Cadillac plan for improving Green Park Road, how about a Chevy?
Unfortunately, if General Motors doesn’t shape up, we may be stuck with a sort of Model T-type road.
