The Laclede Gas Co. has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to adjust the infrastructure system replacement surcharge, or ISRS, on the bills of its natural-gas customers.
The surcharge first appeared on customer bills in June 2004.
Laclede is seeking to adjust the current ISRS to reflect infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural-gas company from Dec. 1 through March 31. These costs for natural-gas pipeline replacements and relocations currently are not included in Laclede’s rates.
Residential customers currently pay a surcharge of 68 cents a month. Laclede’s proposal would change the surcharge to 99 cents a month.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than May 24 with the Secretary of the Missouri Pub-lic Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jef-ferson City, Mo. 65102. Copies of the ap-plication should be sent to: Rick E. Zucker, Esq., Laclede Gas Co., 720 Olive St., Room 1520, St. Louis, Mo. 63101; and the Office of the Public Counsel, P.O. Box 2230, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-2230.
The Office of the Public Counsel is a separate state agency that represents the general public in matters before the commission.
