To the editor:
I agree with the letter from Marilee Sauer and her suggestion to change the name of the proposed Crestwood mall redevelopment project, now called the District at Crestwood.
This name does nothing for me and leaves me flat.
I am not a current resident in the Crest-wood area, but now live in Oakville. I previously lived in Concord Village from 1956 to 1999. During those years, my family spent many days shopping at the Crestwood shopping center. I was sorry to see the shopping center’s demise.
While I do not live in that area, I still follow news about it in the Call and still have an interest in what is going on. I hope the citizens of Crestwood change the name to something more colorful and appealing.
Marilee Sauer provided some good ideas for the development’s name.
