Joshua and Melanie Portell of Arnold announce the birth of their third child, Ava Ann, 201⁄2 inches, 7 pounds, 11 ounces. She was born June 11 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

Elder children are Dylan Olvera, 9, and Cameron John, 19 months.

Patrick and Jessica Portell of Barnhart announce the birth of their third child, Ava Michelle Rose, 20 inches, 7 pounds, 6 ounces. She was born Feb. 10 at St. Anth-ony’s Medical Center.

Elder children include Nico, 5; Angelina, 7; Patrick “PJ”; 13; and Samantha, 15.

Maternal grandparents are Bryan Atkin-son and Josephine Atkinson of Imperial.

Paternal grandparents are Sandra Bartlett and Patrick Gilmore Portell Sr. of Fred-ricktown.
