The county Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in investigating the armed robbery of a Mobil gas station at 8501 Morganford Road in Affton.

The robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving cash, he fled, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male, with dark hair and an average height and build. He was last seen driving a dark-colored sedan from the scene.

The robbery was captured on the gas station’s surveillance cameras.
