Public hearings on rezoning requests for a subdivision of single-family houses and an indoor soccer facility in south county will be conducted next week by the county Planning Commission.

The hearings will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in the County Council Chambers at the Administration Building, 41 S. Central Ave., Clayton.

Pinnacle Land Development LLC is requesting a Planned Environment Unit procedure in an R-2 15,000-square-foot Residence District. The site is on the east side of Wells Road, roughly 350 feet south of Sunset Oaks Lane.

The developer proposes single-family residences on the 12.1-acre site.

Green Park Soccer is proposing an indoor soccer facility southwest of the intersection of Green Park Road and Avenue H, north of Avenue H and south of Grant’s Trail.

Green Park Soccer is seeking a conditional-use permit in the M-1 Industrial District and FPM-1 Flood Plain Industrial District for the 6.4-acre tract.
