Students at Wohlwend Elementary in Oakville, above, along with Rogers and Forder, stood outside their houses Sunday to wave as their teachers drove by in a parade.

In a possible farewell to the students they’re missing, teachers from Wohlwend, Forder and Rogers elementaries held a makeshift parade in their individual cars and drove pasts students’ homes.

Students waved to teachers from their driveways to keep proper social distancing, next to signs wishing them well.

After St. Louis County issued a stay-at-home order through April 22, school closures have also been extended to comply with the order. Students, parents and teachers have had to adjust to remote learning and teaching.
