Parents give $667,902 toward student programs

Lindbergh Schools parent groups continued to show significant support for student programs in 2014-2015 by volunteering, serving on committees and raising funds to support schools.

Parent groups gave $667,902 to schools during 2014-2015, and have provided more than $2.7 million since 2010-2011. A detailed report of parent organization contributions was presented to the Board of Education last week, showing significant funding for projects and purchases that support schools, students and community.

“These donations have been very important in providing the best possible education and programming to the students of Lindbergh Schools, and we appreciate everything our parents do to support students year after year,” school board President Kathleen Kienstra stated in a news release.
