The Lindbergh Board of Education recently honored a number of exceptional Lindbergh High School students. Besides honoring 12 2014 National Merit Semifinalists, the board recognized three 2014 National Merit Commended Students, 12 2013 International Baccalaureate Diploma recipients, 26 2014 Inspirational Teachers and 144 students who were 2013 Advanced Placement Scholars. ‘Tonight we have a special opportunity to recognize Lindbergh High School students who exemplify the high caliber of academic achievement that makes LHS one of the best schools in the nation, and a National Blue Ribbon School,’ said board President Kathleen Kienstra. ‘We are proud to honor these students, and their parents and teachers who support these incredible young men and women in their accomplishments.’ At the ceremony honoring the National Merit Semifinalists, front row, from left, are: Kienstra, Aarthi Bala, Brenna Kizer, Katherine Hufker, Bridget Kohl, Brian Barrett and Rep.
