The Mehlville Optimist Club recently honored Katie Richter of St. Francis of Assisi as its Student of the Month. She is actively involved in the Student Council, the Yearbook Committee and Minnie Vinnies — St. Vincent DePaul Society. Katie is also a straight-A student. Her parents, Terry and Gina, and teacher Sue Bokamper were present when she received the award. Pictured with Katie is John Roland, Optimist Club Student of the Month chairman.
