The Mehlville Optimist Club recently celebrated Youth Appreciation Day by honoring 10 outstanding students from five local high schools.
These students were formally recognized during a breakfast meeting at Andre’s South attended by parents and principals.
Schools and students honored include:
Hancock High School — Arifa Klokic and Nedzad Durakovic.
Lindbergh High School — Shalaka Nimmagadda and Randall Le.
Lutheran High School South — Meredith Mey and Lucas Steffan.
Mehlville High School — Alyssa Drew and Dominic Meyer.
Oakville High School — Shayla Hrncic and Shannon Goersch.
