The Mehlville Optimist Club recently honored Julia Steffens of Lutheran High School South as its Outstanding Student of the Month. Among those present at the award ceremony to share in the honor and elaborate on Julia’s accomplishments were her parents, Craig and Lisa Steffens, Lutheran South Principal Brian Ryherd and the Rev. Ron Roma. Julia is very involved in ministry work, excels in academic achievement and is courteous and kind to all, according to a news release.
